Our Commitment

We are a small, family-owned moving company, and we believe the people we serve should be able to use our website regardless of ability. We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard most widely used for web accessibility. Accessibility is something we keep working on rather than something we finish, and we review our site as we make changes to it.

What We Have Done

Our website is built to work with a keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse. We write descriptive text for images so screen readers can describe them. We use headings in a logical order so the structure of each page makes sense when read aloud. We aim for text and background color combinations with enough contrast to be readable, and our pages are built to work on phones, tablets, and computers at a range of screen sizes and zoom levels.

Where We Know We Fall Short

We are honest about this: parts of our site are built on a purchased template and on third-party tools, and we do not control every piece of code on the page. Some elements may not yet meet the standard we are aiming for. If you find something that does not work for you, we want to hear about it, and we will fix what we can.

Third-Party Content

Some parts of our site come from other companies, including embedded maps, review widgets, and social media links. We do not control how those services are built, and their accessibility is up to them. We are glad to give you the same information another way if one of those tools gets in your way.

If any part of this website is difficult for you to use, you do not have to work around it. Call us and a real person will help you directly. We can give you a quote, answer questions about a move, and book your date entirely over the phone. We are happy to read information aloud, email it in a different format, or talk it through however works best for you.
