We're Tyler and Samantha Lucy, a husband-and-wife team born and raised right here in Bedford County, Virginia. This area isn't just where we work. It's where we grew up, where our families are, and where we chose to build our lives near the beauty of Smith Mountain Lake.
Tyler graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2018 and spent three years in law enforcement, where the work demanded attention to detail, accountability, and showing up when people needed help. Samantha graduated from Radford University in 2019 with a degree in Recreational Therapy, bringing the same people-first mindset to everything she does.
In 2021, we made the leap and launched Blue Ridge Moving. The idea was simple, build something of our own that lets us give back to the community that gave us so much. We wanted to run the kind of business where people feel taken care of, not just serviced.
